Shamanism has its roots in every civilization on earth. It is the communication with spirits of nature, animals and teachers in thier highest form. These spirits are the companions and helpers
of the Shaman as he helps his people. This belief system does not negate the existence of God. It reaffirms it. These spirits are the "hands of God" reaching out to the spiritual side of mankind. They are the "liaison" between man and nature, between health and sickness, between knowledge and ignorance and sometimes between life and death. The Shaman's work is to be a "hollow conduit" through which their healing power flows.

John Turberville Practicing shaman for over 20 years. Training from Michael Harner Phd (FSS 3 year intensive graduate), Sandra Ingerman (soul retrieval), Amerigo Yabar (Peruvian shaman), various Native American Medicine People, Carlos and the Sauer family of Brazil (spiritist healers)

On Life and Death

It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth -- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up -- that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.

- Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Spiritual Journey

“A rule of thumb for a warrior is that he makes his decisions so carefully that nothing that may happen as a result of them can surprise him, much less drain his power.”

It's all about intention and attitude
The trick is in what one emphasizes. We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same.
